1. About Good Enough Week

Good Enough Week is an independently developed, life-aware endurance planning application for amateur athletes. The product is currently preparing for a limited private beta.

This policy explains how personal information and training-related data are expected to be handled when the private beta and Garmin integration become available. At the time this policy is published, the public website itself does not connect to Garmin accounts or collect Garmin device-sourced data.

2. Information we may process

When the private beta is available, Good Enough Week may process:

• Account information such as email address and authentication identifiers.
• Athlete profile information such as goals, training preferences and available equipment.
• Weekly check-in information such as availability, recovery, life load, subjective fatigue and user-provided health or pain constraints.
• Garmin device-sourced activity data authorized by the user, such as activity type, timing, duration, distance, heart-rate-related metrics and other supported activity information.
• Supported Garmin health or wellness information, if the user authorizes access and the feature is enabled.
• Generated coaching decisions, weekly plans, explanations and product feedback.

3. How Garmin data will be accessed

Good Enough Week intends to use the official Garmin Connect Developer Program and Garmin's OAuth 2.0 authorization flow.

Users will authorize access through Garmin's own authorization experience. Good Enough Week will not request, receive or store a user's Garmin account password.

Garmin-sourced data will be used to provide the user's own training analysis, weekly planning and related product features. It will not be sold or used for third-party advertising.

4. Coaching logic and AI

Core training decisions in Good Enough Week are designed to be produced by explicit, deterministic rules and planning logic. Artificial intelligence is intended to be an optional natural-language explanation layer rather than the independent decision-maker for a training plan.

When the optional AI explanation feature is enabled, limited derived training summaries and coaching context may be sent to the OpenAI API to explain an already-determined plan. Good Enough Week does not intend to send Garmin account credentials or raw Garmin activity files to the OpenAI API.

5. Service providers

The public website is currently hosted using Cloudflare infrastructure. For the planned private beta, Good Enough Week may also use:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): application and backend hosting.
• Supabase: planned authentication and PostgreSQL-based application storage.
• OpenAI API: optional natural-language plan explanations as described above.
• Garmin: official account authorization and Garmin Connect API data exchange.

Service providers will be used only as necessary to operate, secure and improve the product, subject to their applicable terms and data-protection commitments.

6. Data minimization and security

Good Enough Week is designed to process only data reasonably needed for the requested training-planning features. The planned private-beta architecture includes per-user data isolation and access controls.

Sensitive integration credentials and tokens will not be intentionally exposed in public source code or user-facing pages. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards will be used as the product develops.

7. Retention and deletion

The private beta is intended to provide users with a way to disconnect their Garmin account and request deletion of their Good Enough Week account and associated application data.

Retention periods may be refined as the beta develops. Data will not be intentionally retained longer than necessary for the product purposes, legal obligations, security, or legitimate operational needs.

8. Website data

Good Enough Week does not currently add advertising trackers or third-party marketing analytics to this public website. Hosting and security providers may process ordinary technical information such as IP addresses, request metadata and security logs as part of delivering and protecting the site.

9. Health and training disclaimer

Good Enough Week is a training-planning product and is not a medical service. It does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. Users should seek qualified medical advice when appropriate, particularly regarding pain, illness, injury or other health concerns.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Good Enough Week moves from a pre-beta website to a functioning private beta, including when integrations, service providers or data practices materially change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
